The Long Service Leave Act 1992 (Vic) (LSL Act) differs from long service leave legislation in other States and Territories by stipulating that there must be a transfer of the actual ownership of the business for long service leave entitlements to be preserved, rather than simply a transfer of the business’s function or activity.
