Ms Pascua worked for Doessel Group Pty Ltd from her home base in the Philippines, pursuant to an Independent Contractor’s Agreement.

In March 2024, Ms Pascua was dismissed for copying confidential client and company information. Ms Pascua denied any wrongdoing and commenced unfair dismissal proceedings in the Fair Work Commission (FWC).
