FWC clarifies how to calculate the minimum employment period

The Case

Yi Ying Tsai v Fresh Four Pty Ltd (2024)

Ms Yi Ying Tsai commenced employment with Fresh Four on 24 October 2023. On 17 April 2024, she was notified of her dismissal.

After ceasing employment, Ms Yi Tsai lodged un unfair dismissal claim with the Fair Work Commission (FWC).
