The Case
P v Momo Chicken Pty Ltd (2023)
A female hospitality worker from South Korea migrated to Australia and started working for Momo Kitchen Pty Ltd at the age of 17. Momo Kitchen employed the worker:
- from 23 September 2018 to 22 September 2019;
- from 1 July 2020 to 14 March 2021; and
- from 29 May 2021 to 19 June 2022, when she resigned her employment.
