Can we extend an employee’s probationary period?

Q: If an employee has completed their probationary period, but we have some issues with their behaviour and performance, can we extend their probationary period for a further 3 months?

A: You can generally extend the probationary period by agreement, or unilaterally if the employee’s contract gives your business the right to do so.
