Q: Our new employees are required to be supervised in their work. Recently, due to a staff shortage, we had to send two new employees home early as there was no one available to supervise. Should these employees still be paid for their full shifts? One is covered under the Clerks–Private Sector Award 2020 and the other the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020.
